COVID-19 HOME MONITORING SERVICE
Most mild/moderate cases of Covid-19 can be managed at home. However a physician should monitor the progress of the disease so that interventions can be made if the disease takes a turn for the worse.
Etica Hospital uses tele-medicine services for the same. A doctor of the qualification of MD Medicine or equivalent would provide the service which includes:
Video Consults:
Going by the existing knowledge of the disease, we offer a video consult with the patient every 3 days till the resolution of the disease (We are available even before 3 days if needed)
Daily Monitoring of vital parameters:
Our physicians will keep a track of your vitals like Heart rate, BP, SpO2 on a daily basis. You need to measure them and send them to us on whatsapp/email. In case of any changes, an intervention/change of medicine/suggestion for hospitalisation etc will be made immediately.
Review of Investigations:
Progress in covid is tracked via certain blood investigations. You can send us the reports and we shall keep a track of the changes and make the necessary recommendation.
Prescriptions/treatment plan/suggestions:
Based on your reports, vital parameters and evaluation of consults, the doctor shall provide you with the necessary digital prescription. Necessary changes to the treatment and overall progress will be explained.
Cost of Service: INR 9000/- (See attached document for prices of lab tests)
NOTE:
* You may get the investigations done via Etica Hospital and it's NABH Accredited lab partner American Pathology (AmPath) Labs. Sample collection will be done from your homes with proper protective gear. Charges for the lab tests are provided in the document below. You may chose to get the investigations from any other lab of your choice as well.
*Lab investigations are usually repeated on the 4th or 5th day or earlier if needed.
*In case the diseases worsens, the doctor may make a strong recommendation for hospitalisation in a COVID care hospital. In case of such a recommendation, the appropriate amount will be deducted from the amount billed for services given and the rest would be refunded back .
*Etica Hospital does not provide in-patient services or liaison for in-patient admission in case hospitalisation is needed.
